Photography is my hobby and  my love. I take pictures for me and my client's pleasure, and I put my time and heart into the shooting and post-processing so that the result is always as excellent as possible. Check out my handwriting before booking a session to get an idea of what your photos will look like.

Before the session:

 

​

- If you want to come to my photo session, please note that I consider the choice of clothing very important in order to achieve the desired result. When booking the session, we will talk about your vision, which pictures you would like, and be prepared that I will also ask about the outfit planned for the session. I'll be happy to give you advice and let's agree on a suitable outfit.

- Most of the time I only book sessions for weekends. During daylight hours (May-September) also on weekday evenings from 18:00. During the summer period, when making a reservation, prefer morning or evening times and avoid midday if possible. During the winter period, when booking a session, consider that it should be during daylight hours - session start time 10:00 - 14:00. Fine art session is with studio light and the time of day is not important.

- After booking, I will send you a pre-session questionnaire, which I ask you to fill out and return a week before the session. These answers help me as a photographer to better understand your family and your wishes and to better plan our session. After receiving the gallery, I also collect feedback through the feedback questionnaire. I use the latter for self-development purposes. Both questionnaires are private and their content cannot be published by me. I will keep the questionnaires with your answers on my device for 1 year along with your pictures.

- In addition to the questionnaire, I will always be there for you before the session to answer any questions that arise.

- Outdoor photo sessions I offer are without exact time limits. I have only noted the estimated duration to illustrate the time during which all the necessary shots can be taken. This approach gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and conduct the session without haste. This is especially necessary with small children, with whom it takes some time to establish a trusting and safe relationship before the session begins. That way, as a photographer, I know that we will get all the pictures we want, and you have a good feeling of being at the session without keeping track of the time.

-Simple the package is well suited for a person who wants one or two individual high-quality and artistic digital files of their family or children, to later display the images on a large canvas as a high-quality photo print, to decorate their home wall as a beautiful keepsake. Also for those who want a personalized postcard for holiday or birthday greetings.

Our session:

 

- I love outdoor sessions and 90% of my photos are created in nature. Nature offers a wonderful background in every season, and inspired by nature, my beautiful fairy-tale photos are born. Outdoor photography is always done only during daylight hours.

​

​

-Fine Art studio session takes place in a studio with studio lighting and, depending on the desired look, darker tones/background. For newborn and baby sessions, I prefer to use natural light and light, white toned studio setting. This session takes place in natural light and white studio. The studio rental fee is already included in the price of the package.

​

​

 - All sessions are guided by me and I always do my best to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible so that the photo session memorable and a great time spent together.

After the session:

​

​

- I shoot all photos of the session in RAW format and use the Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop photo editing programs for post-processing. It often takes quite a lot of work hours for the artistic editing, because I always want to give the best result. I can usually complete a personal online gallery with post-processed image files within two weeks. Inclusive package for three weeks and printed photos, one more week of waiting time.

- In the post-processing of my images, I proceed from the vision we established together regarding the result. We will discuss the details during the consultation before the session. Photo processing is thorough and time-consuming - an average of 50 minutes of my time has been calculated for the processing of each artistic image file. For example Creative session images take me a total of 8 hours of computer time to process the 10 images of the session.

- Please note that I do not do heavy beauty editing. My image processing style is artistic and requires time to achieve the desired overall look. I do not change the shape of people's bodies in my pictures, nor do I pay particular attention to removing beauty flaws (wrinkles, etc.). When it comes to portraits, I follow the limits of good taste and rather like to preserve natural beauty.

- I use a private gallery environment to share images with the client named ShootProof. After the session, you have the right to use your personal gallery for 1 month, which is password protected and created just for you. In that environment, only those who know the personal PIN code can download images. In this way, the customer's security is guaranteed and the customer has the opportunity to share his gallery with his loved ones, without fearing that someone may download the images to his device arbitrarily.

- In the online gallery you can find post-processed digital image files in JPEG format in the original size. They are suitable for sharing on social media as well as for photo printing up to A5   format. I keep the image files on my device for 12 months after our photo shoot. Inclusive 24 months. High resolution digital files (300dpi) are included in the packages Simple and Inclusive and they are needed for large-scale (larger than A4) photo printing to maintain maximum image quality.

-Simple, Creative and Studio session digital files are usually ready within two weeks, unless otherwise agreed. Inclusive package image files can usually be received within three weeks. If you want to receive the digital files quickly (within 1 week), an additional fee will be added to the session price 50 EUR.

​

- The number of image files depends on your package choice. Simple the session includes one digital image file, but it is possible to order up to 4 additional image files. Creative includes 10 image files with photos in a gift box and Studio 10(fine art)  or  20(newborn) image files with photos in a gift box. The inclusive package includes 15 image files with photos in a gift box and one photo print in the selected size.

- When I have completed the digital files and handed over the online gallery to you, I will also hand them over to the printing house. I will send the finished photos with a gift box to the agreed address using a suitable parcel machine, or if possible I will hand them over. Allow about a week or two to receive the print files, depending on the current workload of the printing house and parcel carriers.

​

​

- Art photos are wonderful and timeless memories, and it would be a shame if they remained only as digital files. To help you keep them special and worthy, I have considered Creative, Studio and Inclusive photos on premium paper in a beautiful gift box are also included in the sessions. The inclusive package also includes one large photo print (cap or canvas, up to 60x90cm).

- The print quality that I offer is not available in a regular photo shop, but in a printing studio that offers high-quality printing services to fulfill special requests. This option works wonderfully for displaying my fine art photos for both paper photos and larger photo prints.

By ordering your photo printing through me, you can be sure that you will receive beautiful memories on high-quality premium paper that will retain its quality for many years. A beautiful gift box will help keep these photos safe and protect them from light and dust. This way, you can enjoy these photo memories for a long time and share them with your dear guests, and you don't have to depend on access to electronics.

- The price of one digital file with my artistic processing is 25 EUR. Digital files can be purchased separately with the Simple package.

Additional information:

 

- I would like to show my work to others, and I would be very grateful if you would allow me to do so. To publish photos, I use this website and also Facebook (FB) page under the name KatrinFoto. I usually publish up to 5 image files from one session. 
 

- I respect your desire for privacy and do not charge extra for this. If you want to keep the gallery from your photo session or a separate image file private, please let me know. Otherwise, it may happen that I publish some pictures without knowing your wish. 
 

- I do not wish to apply a booking fee, so please be sure of your photography request. Unexpected situations can always occur, due to which it is not possible to come to the session at the agreed time. I am flexible here and always try to meet and find the best solutions. Please let me know as soon as possible if you want to postpone or cancel your appointment. If you fail to come to our agreed session and have not informed me about it before, when booking a new session, I have the right to ask for the photo session booking fee in the amount of half of the photo session cost in advance. This amount is non-refundable.
 

-Studio when booking the package, I would like to receive the studio reservation fee as an advance payment to confirm our reservation. If our session should be canceled depending on the client and it is not possible to change the time of the studio reservation, or if the studio is not willing to cancel the reservation and reimburse the reservation fee, this amount is not subject to my later compensation.

- My photos are my creation, so I own the copyright of the photos taken during our session. I do not share or sell RAW files. 
 

- As a photographer, I have the right to change the content and price list of my website. These changes do not apply to already booked sessions. 
 

- If you make a reservation for my photo session, I assume that you have read and agreed to the information here. If you have any questions, please contact me so that we can find a suitable solution.
